Thunderstorm

4 08 2005

We had an incredible thunderstorm two nights ago. One of the strongest I’ve ever been in – perhaps the strongest. The sky was literally strobing with light – for well over an hour – and I’d say there were 20 or more very close strikes. I’ll define very close as the type of lighting strike where it is not followed by rumbling – nono – these are flashes with a simultaneous “pop” or “snap” sound within a couple hundred meters of you and you can feel the electricity in the air.

Total cost was about $300:

  • One cable modem

  • One network card
  • One cisco ATA voip adapter

I still love thunderstorms.
