Albert Hoffman Dies at 102
30 04 2008Dr. Albert Hoffman has died. Hoffman was the discoverer of LSD.
He once called LSD “medicine for the soul” and I couldn’t agree more. He was a staunch advocate for its responsible use and research, and lived to see its resumption; just before his 102nd birthday, the first LSD study with humans received approval from Bern’s Federal Office of Public Health. He called that the “fulfillment of my heart’s desire.” Thank you, Dr. Hoffman.
