Charlottesville, VA

Cheers from the warm and friendly town of Charlottesville, Virginia. A friend recommended I check the place out, and I am already glad I did.

While driving down from Reston, I soaked up a great view of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Shenandoah National Park. The highest outside temperature my car gauged was 77 degrees - it was gorgeous.

As I was heading out for dinner, a couple shared the elevator ride with me. The woman warned the man that it was “getting chilly” out and he might want to go back for a jacket. At the time, it might have been 60.

The food is good, the people friendly, the weather forecast nice - and there are a lot of sights to be seen. Who knows, I might stick around a couple of days and do some exploring.
