Coincidence and Injustice

11 06 2007

Just last night, I deleted a draft of an old article I had written about the ridiculous imprisonment of a 20-year old student who has had his life ruined for something most of us have done – in fact, something that simply should not be a crime.

Today, a glimmer of hope for this kid appeared – only to be snatched away by an insane, overzealous prosecutor.

I’m in the middle of a very busy afternoon so I don’t have a bunch to say about it, other than to say the Georgia Attorney General Thurbert Baker not only lives in a different world than I do, but he is also himself an immoral and cruel human being.
