Conservatives on Bush & Democratic Fundraising

29 12 2004

I find it interesting how (relatively) unpopular Bush is amongst core influencers within the Republican Party – conservative intellectuals, elected and appointed Republican officials. A large number of these people were reluctant Bush supporters. I think this fact really helps highlight how much Kerry sucked, and how broken and out-of-touch the Democratic Party is.

BTW, you lefties out there who consider your party the party of the “small guy” or the “average Joe”, one way to dissect this assumption is by looking at how well a party and their candidates do among smaller contributors. Well, guess which party did *dramatically* better amongst those donating $1M or more?

Hey I'm a franco-american living in France, and I can't help realizing how ashamed I can be sometimes of our international politics due to Bush's numerous mistakes... The positive side is: seeing how unpopular he is at the mo, we won't reelect a republican next time... and if we do, I give up! Our image on the international scene at the present is in most part due to him, and not the democrats...

No matter how much Kerry sucked, on his worst day he doesn't come close to the level of incompetence that George W Bush demonstrates day after day after day.

  • The Democratic Party, sadly, is no longer the party of the "Average Joe," and by that I mean white, middle-America, blue collar, who appears to be more taken with the Republicans' love of the Jesus, first and foremost.

The Democratic Party, however, can count fierce support from Hollywood's brightest stars!

    Crud.
