Wandering aimlessly down Church Street in Harvard Square yesterday, I heard a magical soulful voice in song bouncing off the buildings on the street, unable to tell, at first, where it was coming from…

I eventually traced the source to Club Passim but the place seemed too crowded for me to go in and figure it out. There were people outside listening also, and I stuck around for a few, she sounded so great. I then did a little bit of detective work with the program flyer and discovered it was Kate Klim, a definite musical power at just 20. Check her out.

I try to avoid comparing creative artists.. but I felt a little bit of Tori going on here… or, perhaps better said, I felt some of the same character & power that make Tori so enjoyable for me….
