Please vote….

Please, everyone, get out and vote today. I’m being really serious when I say I believe our republic is in grave danger. Vote. And I encourage you to vote against Republican candidates. I won’t encourage you to vote for the Democrats, necessarily – they’re pretty pathetic. But please do go out and vote, and vote against these so-called Republicans. Pick third party candidates, or Democrats, or write your Aunt Bessy in if you must. Whatever you need to do to restore some semblance of a balance of power in Washington, please do. I’d very much like to see a major Republican defeat today, for reasons oft discussed herein.

I predict that the Democrats take the House, and possibly the Senate by a seat or two. Here’s hoping. Yeah, they suck – but they suck less.
